The Hypercube is the 4 dimensional analog of the cube. For full info on it see the Wikipedia article here. This model is a Toroidal Hypercube inside another Toroidal Hypercube. If all the vertexes of the large hypercube were connected to the same vertexes of the small one then we would have a form of the 5 Dimensional Cube. The Toroidal Hypercube is an unusual projection of the Hypercube that equally distorts all 8 of its cubes. All the lines the same length as they should be in a Platonic hyper solid or 'polytope'. It is my own invention from about...
This form gives an amazing impression of dynamic movement. Like my Toroidal Hypercube it seems to spin in both directions at the same time. Like all the higher dimensional forms it stretches the mind to contemplate its higher dimensional login. We intuitively recognise that it does makes less sense as a 3 dimensional form than as a projection of something simpler operating in a more expansive space. I believe that this form is one of the 4th dimensional 'Archimedian hypersolids' as found in a lecture by H.S.M. Coxeter. A version without the hanging ring is available here VIEW IN...
